Start apple-peace again!

Hi there.
This year is really a transition period for me
Being hospitalized from January-February, resting at home for half an month, then returned to my workplace.
Such dramatic year!

And one of the biggest break is that I've started twitter!
Amazing communication tool, such a reservoir of information and knowledge fascinating in all walks of life!

Well, here I hope this year will surpass 2009 for everybody;-)

Kanto Student's Japanese Archery Match

Kanto Match was held on last Saturday and Sunday. I was going to see it with my old fellows in Kyudo club. Long time we had been gathered around and met each other since job hunting had been kicked off. And also OB and OG ( our senior now graduated), our Kohai( Junior), were putting together as a team attempting to do the best for this big match.
Kanto, which means all university students in Japanese Archery club joining together to win the championship, is the biggest festival at Nihon Budo Kan. All student players are in here to be the heros and heroines. The whole dome was filled with cheering and passion.
Of course, our club had joined this game. Although we weren't able to get in the tournament match, but we did the best. And I saw my juniors had gradually grown up into a real Kyudo Jin. (Budo)
That was what I did on holidays. And today, my Media English class had taken a listening test, the content was fun. It treated the discrimination of lesbian teenage's public displays of affection in California. The problem is not only the lesbian girl's sexual orientation, but also her openness that she huged, kissed her girlfriend in public. Then she was suspended by her principle for violating the rules although she excelled in every subjects at school. I could feel totally sympathy for her situation, but one thing I wonder is her lack of dilemma and struggle about her orientation as a lesbian. It seems she hasn't even tried to hide she likes a girl, less reluctant to show her affection toward her lover in the open. Maybe she does this because she is brave. But at least, in Japan, asian countries, this behavior is much less seen. Especially homosexual couples would feel uncomfortable to do this in public with a feeling of guilty amongest them. And one thing interesting was her sister said this is nothing to be shamed.
Um, another difference I've foudn between asian culture and western. :-)

Business English Presentation

Today, in Business English class, we had a presentation for our product Our group is made by 6 people, including me. And we had to finish this presentation only in a week. So today it was our day to do this at all of the first! Only one week allowed for preparing for! Information from internet were the main sources we could get.

However, we made it! Every one was doing each part of the presentation for SILKY GROVE SPA, beauty & cosmetic goods.

we have 1) Introduction ( mainly introducing ourselves and what charge we are in)
2) Topic
3) Structure of Presentation
4) Background of our product
5) Product Features
6) Target Customers & Markeeting Plans
7) Advertising Strategies
8) Distribution ( Sales Outlet)
9) Pricing
10) Packaging
Finally is Conclusion , Q&A Section

As you could see, my part was Pricing, Packaging and Conclusion. The whole presentation were divided in eleven sections.

All though we hadn't had enough time to consider making further research, thanks to Erika, we could say we did a good work and reaction from classmates and teacher were satisficationable.

Here,I'm going to talk about Erika. She was in charge of Advertising Strategies and Distribution, which was a undeniably great work! I mean not only her work on powerpoint, but also her performance! Well-Structured, and easy to understand by using lots of gestures! She had been in an international school in Malaysia until 8. That's why her English was so fluent and it seemed to me all her body was moving with the rhythm. Absolutely she was quite used to explaining something to people in English. I wish I had this skill too though my brain was blank while I was doing presentation through the class. Even the single word " cheaper" didn't come out when I tried to explain our pricing strategy.:( I think I should practice more from now on.

Okay, this is how I spent today. Hope you enjoy your days too~~~♪

Say Hello Again~~~

It's been SO long time not posting on here.
It might because I have been keeping diary on MIXI, Japansese community just like My Space.
Well, I would try to keep on blogging here. MIXI is good space to share information or daily funny things with friends. However, I'm not sure that is the best place to just put your true feelings on. Sometimes, I just feel not in mood telling every real friends what exactly happened to me. It might make them surprised, or sad or else.
I had been attempted to transmit the happiest and most excited things to everybody. But I find it hard to act as bright as you wanted to be. Actually, I'm the last person to share negative parts to all my friends.

Oh, by the way, I've received a job offer from softbank, a mobile & telecommunication company since this Aprill. Before that, I had been doing a "job hunting", filling application, interviewed several times. Although it wasn't always going smoothly all the time, I was able to enjoy myself by meeting my best friends, having a girl talk which had nothign to do with job.:-) It helped me out a lot and soothed me very much.

Anyway, I would like to appreciate everybody who share the expensive time with me. The hardest time I had, ( being hospitalized, heartbroken, etc), and of course the happiest time ( recovering succussfly, coming back to school etc). Thank you very much!Because of you, I am the happiest girl in the world. I LUV YOU GUYS SO MUCH! :-)I'm living with my mom in a cozy apartment in Tokyo. So don't worry about me. I'm GENKI!

Okay, I will stop writing here. Tomorrow I am going to hospital to have a regular doctor check. See you guys soon^^

Fireworks Fesitival In Yokohama

Hi^^ Long time no see you.

Wow, I can't believe I haven't blogged for as long as half and year???Six months??oh, sorry:)

I'd like to tell what I was doing last weekend. I went to Yokohama see Fireworks. It has 6,000 hits, sort of big festival. Although there are more numbers of fireworks in other events, Yokohama, as an international urban, people gather up here to have a wonderful fireworks night. Why? Because it is an event for Lovers, families and friends, of course! Boys and girls all dressed up in Yukata( Japanese traditonal dress), holding each other's hands, talking, chatting, all have a blast! I enjoyed myself observe them^^

Here I have a question. Is firework festival only held in Japan?? Do YOUR country have this fantastic event?? We have this festival in summer all the year through wide nation. Crack Ice, Yukata, and fireworks are almost the symbols of summer in Japan. I am going to see another fireworks in Chyofu, which lit 10,000 fires. I just can't wait it^^Ah, before that, i ave to finish my exams, haha.

First Diary in 2006

I really haven't uploaded my blog for so long.
Sorry for keeping you waiting^-^;
I just want to tell you a news.
A truely good news for me.
That is that,
I've been seeing someone since this X'mas Eve.
He is not the most handsome guy, but he is the best for me.
There is no kinder man like him and I really rely on him.

Although we are in the same university, but we don't meet quite often because we are in different department.
He studies law and me, english literature.
To tell the truth, i have never thought of myself attracted by a type like him.
Hehe, but i do find I fond of him so much, not for his appearance, but his heart.

Don't you think I have grown up as an adult?? Um,,I just think I am missing him everyday. Like Lemon, this feeling is sweet but a little sour. Hehe.

The photo was taken in the coming of age day in 1/6. Actually this festival is on 1/9, but I had to go to Backstreet Boys Concert in Tokyo dome on 1/8. So I weared Kimono or Furisode in previous day. What do you think of me in this japanese traditional costume?

Anyway, I wish everyfriend in Japan or abroad have a happy 2006 new year!!
Enjoy your days!
